Common questions about how Arcetta works, what it monitors, and how to get started
Yes. If your site runs Google Tag Manager, Arcetta works with it. We monitor your dataLayer events, GTM container, Meta Pixel, GA4, and any other tags firing on your site, regardless of your platform. No custom code required on your end.
Elevar handles implementation: it sets up your server-side events and sends them to your ad platforms. Arcetta handles observability: it continuously checks whether those events are still accurate. They solve different problems. Most of our customers use both. Elevar won't tell you when your dataLayer drifts after a site update. Arcetta will.
Manual audits are point-in-time snapshots. They tell you tracking was correct when you last checked, not whether it's correct right now. Arcetta runs continuously, testing real user journeys with actual browsers around the clock. The moment something breaks (a site update, a new app install, a theme change) you get an alert. Not a week later when you notice a gap in your reports.
No. Arcetta works entirely from the outside, using real browsers to simulate your customer journeys. We don't need access to your Shopify admin, GTM account, or codebase. If your customers can visit it, we can monitor it.
We handle setup with you personally. After a short onboarding call we configure monitors for your critical conversion journeys (checkout, add to cart, purchase confirmation) along with your validation rules and alert channels. Most customers are fully live within 48 hours. There's a one-time setup fee of €200 across all plans.
Arcetta detects and alerts. The fix is on your end, in your GTM setup. But our alerts include the exact failure details: which tag, which parameter, which step in the journey failed and what value was missing or wrong. That means your developer or agency can resolve it quickly without spending hours debugging.
